December empties #04: Maybelline Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Eye Liner in Blackest Black Review

Image
And that is the longest title I've ever put on. Excuse my inability to abbreviate it in any form. Why hello everyone! Welcome back to yet another post of an empty product of this month, have you been liking such December empties posts so far? I'd love to hear what you all think! Well, let's a get a move on, shall we! I was on edge whether to publish this post either under a pure review post or under this month's empties because technically, I haven't finish using this product, but because it has been almost dried out and there isn't really any way to revive it, I unfortunately had to throw it away, I had to give it some kind of justice - which is by sharing my thoughts with you all. Enjoy :) They say gel eyeliners are the easiest to master yet I find them the toughest to apply. Personally, I feel it's all about practice, I started off with liquid liners and kept on learning how to apply eyeliner till I succeeded. Be it pencil liners, liquid li

December empties #03: Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser Review

Christmas and Boxing Day are the time of year when you can go all out (shopping wise) to spoil yourself and your loved ones, without feeling as guilty as you usually would due to the immense amount of sales around! This year, I decided to not go to Boxing Day Sales (not that I've been to any to be honest haha!), instead I am staying at home today just relaxing and writing for you all, before going back to work tomorrow. So yea, technically, I'm spending my time wisely right? Anyways, today's post is on another empties of this month! After last empties post (if you haven't read, click HERE ), I've received a lot of requests to do a review on this Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser - like why I chose this over the E.L.F Tone Adjusting Primer. So I thought, why not, let's start this week's post with this! Preface: I thought I only have a photo to upload here (like previous posts), but when I was digging in my camera files, I found some photo

December empties #02: E.L.F. Tone Adjusting Primer in Brightening Lavender Review

Love it or leave it? Hello everyone! Happy Friday :) Another empty product of this month, and this time it's a primer. Do you use a primer?  Many girls skip this process in their beauty regimen. Even I myself have only learned to use a primer a few years back, because back then when I started with BB Cream, it wasn't needed. I used the Maybelline Baby Skin Pore Eraser (drugstore) / Benefit Porefessional Primer (high-end) back then and they both really did wonders in blurring the pores that I had on my nose. It also provided a smooth canvas for the makeup, especially in the T-zone area. Of course I never stopped exploring other options for primers at similar price point. And when I found out about this one from e.l.f from Kmart, only costing about $13, I was curious to see how it works out for me, and now finally, I've used it all up thus today's review. Enjoy :) From the  e.l.f cosmetics website , the description of this product is: Transform your face in

Etude House: Face Blur and Big Cover Cushion Concealer Review

Image
Hello hello hello :) It's Wednesday already, can you believe this?! I can't. AND It's ELEVEN days till Christmas... like what? Anyways, in this post I'll be reviewing two Etude House products - both of which I've used for about 2 months now, so I thought it is the time to share what I think of them! Left to right: Face Blur & Big Cover Cushion Concealer Read on to know more :) First up, Etude House Beauty Shot Face Blur . I remembered I first saw this product in a korean ad on YouTube one day. It pulled me in wanting to know more about the product because it showed that The Etude House Beauty Shot Face Blur is supposed to give your skin a perfect finish and instantly make your skin "selfie ready" - there's no better way to market a product like that! So obviously I had huge expectation for it and when Sakura Perth gave me this to try out, my eyes glistened. Here's a little intro to what it functions as: it sort of acts

Bloggers United AU Kris Kringle Swap | Christmas Edition

Nothing lifts your festive spirit more than a parcel waiting at the post office for me to pick up after a long day at work. Picked this parcel up two days ago and I was so ecstatically happy to receive my gifts because it shows that Thuy  spent some time getting to know me and what I would like to receive. I'm just so grateful with my gifts! Wait wait wait hold on a minute, *hold you horses, melon* I was so excited to start writing this post that I forgot to give you guys an introduction to what I was going to dive in today. If you don't know, this is an Australian not-for-profit organisation that aims to connect bloggers, vloggers and social media experts. When an invite popped into my inbox for the Kris Kringle Swap, I immediately signed up. The concept behind this event is simple:

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara Review

Image
In this part of the world where girls have shorter and finer eyelashes, we are forever looking for the ULTIMATE MASCARA that thickens, lengthens, volumizes and whatever more nonsense we have. Here is my favourite (high-end) mascara which I have been using since June this year and it hadn't failed me at all, hence I like to share my review on this goodie to you all! *drum rolls* Here I present you the mascara that claims to be ‘better than sex’. At the start, I heard a lot of mixed reviews about this product, I was hesitant since because it's $33, pretty expensive compared to drugstore brands! Luckily around the time I was looking, a Too Faced: Totally Obsessed Kit came out (it was around June) - check on my instagram picture to see ( LINK ). Everything in the kit was travel size and voila, it contains a travel size of the mascara! Thanks to that, I've fell in love with it and it still is going strong! Here'a a little idea of what my lashes are like ( if you

Tony Moly Luminous Goddess Aura Goddess Maker: Smooth Fit Cover Aura Review

Image
Hi everyone! :) How are we all? It's Wednesday already holy moly where has the week gone right? I am here today with a short review on the  Tony Moly Luminous Goddess Aura Goddess Maker: Smooth Fit Cover Aura. (from my Morning Glory haul: see post HERE ) This product is multi-base that helps you to express the skin that you desire. The content is 15 g.  The content may seem little small, but it is a portable size to carry around. There are 3 types of multi-base from Tony Moly selection - #01 Moist Aura, #02 Smooth Fit Cover Aura and #03 Glam Aura. Morning Glory only have #02 - Smooth Fit Cover Aura. This covers your blemish, and also flushes, leaving your skin with porcelain-like coverage. You may use it with BB cream or foundation, to have a higher coverage. I reckon this product will be good to use as a makeup base because it covers all the flaws. First impression & review: - has a lightweight smoothing texture - create a silky-smooth look while cover skin’s
