Etude House: Tint My Brows Gel Review

Hello hello hello!
It's 2017, say what?! First post of this year woop woop, and definitely more to come!
Thought I start this year with an overdue (way overdue) post about Etude House Tint My Brows Gel designed in a limited edition Angry Bird package - have you heard of this product? Or seen? Or have you tried it too? Read on to know what I think :)

First of all, if you have read my previous Etude House posts, you would know what I'm going to say next.. is... Etude House is one of the best known Korean brands for cute packaging. If you are a lover of cute, girly and pink packaging that reminds you of being a child and the princess you always dreamt to be, then my dear readers, THIS is your brand. Their packaging are always on point and so adorable that you cannot keep yourself from impulse-buying - only because you saw the packaging.

First impression - Looking at this product, the original packaging appears simple yet feminine but because this was a limited edition in Angry Birds, the package looked really cute and eye-catching!
The product comes in a cardboard box which shows both Korean and English description. This gel comes in 3 different shades: brown, light brown and grey brown.
The bottle (container?) reminded me of a liquid eyeliner and comes with a thin brush-type applicator. The gel has a sticky consistency which reminded me of liquid glue, except this, in brown colour. The brush is surprisingly thin enough to create proper outlines for your brows.

I got this in the shade #2 Light Brown to match my hair colour.

How to apply? This works similar to lip tint like the Berrisom My Lip Tint Pack, in other words, it works like a kind of non-permanent tattoo. Process goes as simple as this: first, you apply a layer of the gel, leave it to dry and then peel it off to reveal the final look! This new concept eyebrow gel tint is designed for a long-lasting eyebrow makeup - I mean like, who would not want extra 10 mins of sleep without rushing to do their brows especially when we are in a hurry in the morning right ladies?

And now finally, here are the results!

PS. Excuse my bare face. By the way, this was tested before I got my hair chopped off *in case you're wondering haha*

when applied - slept overnight with the gel

Day One
Day Two

Day Three

Day Four

Day Five

Day Six

Day Seven - slowly fading (right)

Day Seven (left)

Overalls, it is supposed to last for about a week and I do have to admit, it did! I really liked how it looked on day 2-4 because after it had faded a bit, it looked super natural.  Personally, I felt like it looked a little too "painted on" on day one for my liking. Keep in mind, I carried on with my normal cleansing routine and I didn't change my skincare around my eyebrows.

Would I recommend it to you? If you are a lover of cute, girly and mostly "pink" packaging, reminding you of childhood and being the princess you always dreamt to be, THIS is your brand. Their packaging is really adorable and you literally cannot keep yourself from impulse-buys!

Anyways, that's it for the review of the Etude House Tint My Brows Gel! Hope you guys enjoyed and don't forget, if you like, to follow this blog, my facebook (link) and on my instagram (link) for daily updates :)

Peace out!

Love,
Melon xoxo
