Etude House: Play101 Pencil - Multi Brush 4 way Review

Hello everybody!! As you can see from the title, this post is not really about a review on makeup, but on a brush so in a way, it's related to makeup (right? haha). I I fell in love with it when I first received it, hence I want to share the love of this around and the necessity of getting this and why you shouldn't miss out on! (very useful!)

As we all know, Etude House Play 101 Pencil got its fame as a multi purpose pencil - various colours and textures enable easier makeup. Note: I don't own any of its collection (yet XD)
This product claims to be made for the pencils too - as it's in the collection too!

Let's see how it is yes? :)

So what is this multi brush and what does it claims to do?

This multibrush has 4 different brush tips, to be used with Play 101 pencils (if you have). The four tips are: edge liner brush (use for eyebrows or to line the eyes), lip gradation brush (use for lips), blending brush (use to apply eyeshadows, concealer or highlighter on nose) and smudge sponge (used with eyeliner or eyeshadows to create a nice smokey eye makeup look).

First impression:
Let's go through each brush!

First, smudge tip with deep shading effect.
On the other side of smudge tip, gradation brush.

On the other side, line brush with edge lines.
On the other side of line brush, blending brush which connects borders of makeup.

So what do I think of this?
First off, can I just say that Etude House definitely hit the big idea for making this multi-brush - super convenient and travel-friendly with 4 mini eye makeup brushes that fit in a single pencil-like packaging! It is very handy especially when you have to travel or even for daily use (in your mini emergency makeup pouch that we all bring in our bags right ladies?) because this uses a small space. Another reason why I like this is because each of the metallic caps can be attached firmly on it, which means you won't lose these brushes in your makeup pouch! These mini brushes are made with high quality bristles, because when I washed them, they didn't fall out at all!

Pros:
  • compact size
  • good quality brushes

Cons: none that I could fault! (really!!)

Well, that's all for today and I shall see you all on Friday! :)

Love,
Melon xoxo
