If you love a glass of wine or two ;) at the end of a long day, then I got a lipstick line that's perfect for you to check out and try!

A lip product that is shaped like a tiny wine bottle? If you don’t love that then you’re probably already dead, or dead drunk.

I'm sure you all have heard about Chateau Labiotte by now if you're as obsessed with K-beauty as me! In case you haven't, they're a super popular Korean makeup brand that's been making waves with their adorable wine-shaped lip tints and lipsticks! If you have been wondering if the hype was really worth it, then look no further because you've come to the right place. I was lucky enough to get my hands on these super cute tints, courtesy of Korean Wifee, so without further ado let's get on to the review! :D

In this post, I will be reviewing 2 of their products - a lip tint and a lipstick of different shades. Let's start with the lip tint!

Fore-note, I have a good news to share with you all, read till the bottom to know what's it ;)

First up, Chateau Labiotte Wine Lip Tint  in PK01 Blush Pink.

What is it? The Labiotte Wine Lip Tint comes in 6 different shades: PK01 Blush Pink, CR01 Rose Coral, OR01 Chardonnay Orange, RD01 Shiraz Red, RD02 Nebbiolo Red and RD03 Merlot Burgundy. Out of these many choices, PK01 was the one that caught my eyes.
It's a long-wearing tint that dyes the lips with a bold yet delicate color that resembles quality wine while also moisturising the lips.

Excuse the uneven of the front packaging - I think might have been
squashed on its way of travelling XD

First impression: I got the lip tint in the shade PK01 - Blush Pink. As you can see, this is a uniquely packaged lip tint that comes in amazing wine-inspired shades! It comes in a mini wine bottle that is just as easy to use! Somehow, it manages to look chic, cute and adorable at the same time. The little bottle holds 7 gram of product, which is a decent amount for the price tag!

The neck of the bottle twists off revealing an attached applicator with a slanted doe-foot tip. I prefer this kind of tip with this particular product because it makes it easy to spread the tint onto my lips. I was also able to precisely trace around the edges of my lips too with no trouble at all!

The wine-shaped bottle feels very light-weighted and sturdy making it ideal for bringing along in a purse.

How to apply: I love the formula and the texture of the lip tint because it's not too thin where it's watery, but it's also not too thick - it's the perfect balance between the two where it feels lightweight, as well as being easy to spread on the lips without being messy. There's also no sticky feeling or tackiness! Once it is absorbed onto the lips, they don't budge at all or transfer. All you really need for vivid color is just one application, so it's super easy to use! Just dab on product and blend onto the lips, or apply all over for a plump pout! It dries super quick, so be sure to work fast. Another great feature is that it doesn't emphasise fine lines!

the bottom shade belongs to the lip tint - very sheer formula
Swatches: Wow. I would have never expect it came out as a bright bubblegum pink. It's such a light shade and has instantly became my favourite tints for everyday wear.

Verdict: This shade has a sheer formula which adds a nice but also subtle pop of colour to the lips. It's enough to gently brighten the face, but not enough to be too over the top. Unfortunately, after several tries, this shade had the weakest staining power when compared to the rest of the lip tints I own in my collection. It left a very light stain behind, but quickly faded after about two hours of wear.

In general, the lip tint formula feels moisturising when applying on the lips, but after a few hours of wear they start to feel a bit drying, at least for my naturally dry lips. I always need to reapply lip balm throughout the day regardless, but I'm happy to say that this lip tint leaves a gorgeous stain on my lips (eventhough I do have to reapply throughout the day)!

Overall, since the Labiotte Wine Lip Tints actually contain wine/grape ingredients, this smell delicious, just like grape juice! I know lip products aren't for eating, but this also taste good too whenever I accidentally lick my lips while wearing this hehe.

Now, moving on to the next product!

Together with the liptint PK01, I also got Chateau Labiotte Wine Lipstick in CR02. I was like why not, since I was trying the lip tints, I thought I’d give the wine lipsticks a go too! These lipsticks are classified as a “melting” type, as they have a very creamy texture and glide on with complete ease. The lipsticks are made with a château margaux wine extract and come in 8 different colours.
I ended up choosing CR02 because the colour looks adorable and is different from many lip products I already have.

First impression: I like the lipstick packaging more than the tint. It has another cap, which is the sponge to smudge and soften the outer line colour so it will create gradient look. I found this interesting! The sponge is so soft and unique, let's call this a great invention!

Smudge sponge tip is soft and can actually work
to blur the outer area when creating
a gradient lip.

Swatches: Although what I thought was the most natural option, it’s still quite pigmented. This particular shade has a nice pinkish hue to it. While the pigmentation doesn’t last all day, the lipstick itself is actually quite long-lasting. It’s also decently moisturising, though I recommend applying a lip balm first. What I like most about it is the creamy texture.

Verdict: The lipstick doesn't accentuate dry parts and that is very good! It doesn't have taste (like the lip tint!) but it has wine scent to it (that is not too much). I found that using fully (as in applying the lipstick as a whole to the lip) is more moisturising than a gradient fill lip. This lipstick in general, is a bit dry, I would recommend using lip balm first before applying.

I'm happy to say that the hype was totally worth it for these beauties. I cannot recommend both the lip tint and lipstick enough! And with the collection presenting wine bottle-shape lip products that contain actual wine extract. what are you waiting for? ;)

PS. So the good news I referred earlier on was actually.... this range is that it’s actually pretty good quality and not just all about the fun and adorable packaging :D

Do you feel drunk just looking at it?
