Regen Cosmetics 2 Step Synergy Effect Mask [Pore] Review

Hello peeps! :)
How are we all?
So I'm back for a review post for y'all to read :) Do youse miss me? JOKES JOKES.
Thought I do a quickie one before I leave overseas (for a holiday) soon as I have already finished my exams few days ago! WOOHOO! I hope I did the papers justicee too X)

Part of my skincare regime is to slap on a mask at least once or twice a week (eventhough it's very hard to maintain this routine during the semester). Now I've tried plenty of different sorts of masks especially from Korea and Taiwan, but I haven’t quite stumbled upon any mask quite like this one…
TA-DA! The Regen Cosmetics 2 Step Synergy Effect Mask for Pore~ [pic: left]

I received these masks for free (for review purposes) a month ago. Finally tried these out as of few days ago (after exams) to de-stress my tired face.

Have you ever heard of the brand, Regen? If you are Korean, well this should be very familiar to you. I personally have known Regen for quite a while now. It all started when I first followed QiuQiu (a famous Singaporean blogger - do check her if you haven't!). She did a nose job and fat-grafting in Korea with Regen Medical Group last year (LINK if you want to read her post), she wrote every detail from the beginning aka the consultation till the end, as in the result of her operation.

I didn't know Regen create cosmetics until I received these masks. Lucky to have the chance to try these out! :) So these face masks are called 2 Step Synergy Effect Mask. There are 5 variants: moisturising, whitening, wrinkle, pore, and nutrition. I received the pore ones.

I have tried so many mask sheets in my life, since mask sheets are essentials in my life! They are practical, easy to use and really hygienic because they are disposable. But I must say that this 2 Step Synergy Effect Mask is the most interesting mask that I've ever used! It has two steps and inside you get two separate masks: the first one is for your face from forehead to cheeks and the second one is to define the V-line. I've never tried a mask like this one before so it was a good experience!

NOTE: Before you continue reading, I must warn you that below photos contain my raw imperfect face, do continue if you dare to see X)
excuse my grim face - but legitly I can't even smile with the mask

First impression: This mask as stated on its packaging, is especially made to target pores. It has sebum care and pore care to reduce acne. It doesn't irritate my skin nor make my skin dry at all. And it's recommended for acne prone skin.

Overalls, I can see that my pores are tightened and reduced in size. On my chin area, I felt my skin became a little tighter. And when I tap my finger along my cheeks, it feels springi-er - like my elasticity of my skin has just improved within 20 minutes of treatment.. unbelievable! However, I didn't notice my chin becoming more "defined" or V-shaped. It's not a big deal to me though. Moreover, I only did 5 treatments and it's definitely not enough to tell a huge difference but I am sure with a prolonged and continuous use of these masks, you will notice a significant difference on your skin condition and the tightening effect of the V-line mask.

RAW PICTURE ALERT!!!!

AFTER :)

Would I buy this? Yes! These masks are special as I have said countlessly :) The price though is a tad too much but I believe, skin care is extremely important for us women, especially youths in their 20's (like me) *cough cough* Eventhough it is not the cheapest masks out there, neither is it terribly expensive either, but what do you expect for an innovative, potentially groundbreaking, non-invasive and quick treatment for better skin and facial contouring? ;)

I hope you enjoy this review :)
