Etude House My Lash Serum Review

Helloooo there! :) Today's review will be about this cute little thing here..

I received this a couple of months ago for free (for review purpose), but I did not use it everyday though, as I sometimes can't be bother or just don't have the time to do that extra step in caring my lashes. But, for the sake of this review, I used it for two weeks straight and hence a review now! :D

The reason I was keen to try this product out was because I have really short lashes (typical asian here!).You can barely see it and I hate applying mascara (as I have to apply so many coats and sometimes it just smudges and arghh that frustration, maybe it's just me though... hmm) and in fact, I also have a fear of curling my lashes :( It's really depressing and actually already trying to accept it. And I know there are all these products out there with serum promising but because majorities are out of my budget, I just wouldn't try something if I cannot be sure of. I know that this product doesn't say anything about making your lashes grow longer or fuller, but instead, to strengthen and supplies nourishment to prevent lash loss.

The design is cute as expected from Etude House, and yes, I'm one of those typical asian girls, that are instantly attracted to anything that is cute and sweet :P

First impression: I obviously got attracted by the product's packaging. It was cute, like any other products from Etude House :) as you can see from the picture, the cap is shimmery like it has tiny glitters. The wand applicator has just the right/appropriate length for applying your lashes. Bristles are really soft hence easy to glide onto the lashes, making the whole process really simple!

How to use: From its packaging, it stated to apply after night care routine by brushing the wand over eyelashes from roots to the end. For this review however, I applied it morning and night every day for two weeks and I have found out that my lashes do feel stronger in strength, like there's less of lash fall-outs.

I tried an experiment by applying this serum before mascara. On a note, however, I would not recommend this if your in hurry, as it literally takes roughly around 3-5 minutes for it to dry. So what I found out from this experiment is that when I applied this serum before the mascara, I noticed that the strands of my eyelashes don't stick with each other, meaning it get rids of the clumps and smudges, unlike when you put on the mascara alone. To me, it acts like a base coat and lash moisturizer in one.

Also, I've noticed that since I started using this, I don’t get TOO MUCH eyelash loss every time I remove my mascara after going out.

Hope I was able to inform you well about this product.

Thank you so much for spending some minutes of your life in reading my post :D
I really appreciate it!

Do stay tune for upcoming posts! :)

Love,
Velene xoxo
