Grand Nature Rejuvenating & Brightening Serum

Caviar in skincare products - is it worth a try?

Caviar, a cutting-edge ingredient for an eleventh fold price in this serum compared to the well-known La Prairie - let me tell you, I too was really intrigued, when Grand Nature reached out.

Introducing you to the hot topic of the night -- Grand Nature Rejuvenating & Brightening Serum. This serum offers brightening and renewal effect, formulated with Nanopeptide-1, Snap-8 and caviar extract.

Without further a-do, let's jump straight into the most anticipated review!

⇢⇢  About the brand, "Grand Nature":

Grand Nature is an Australian-based natural skincare brand since 1999. With adopt of natural ingredients from Australia, they are committed to create natural, safe and effective skincare products. It was initially established in south of Sydney after the founder had discovered functions of antioxidant and whitening in grape seed.

⇢⇢  About this serum:What it claims (from https://www.grandnatureskincare.com.au/): brightens the skin and diminish the appearance of ageing. Recommended for all skin types.

⇢⇢  Key Ingredients:

✨ As its name suggests, this serum is formulated with -
  • Nanopeptide-1: approved and tested to be highly effectively to the skin
  • Snap-8: also known as Acetyl Octapeptide-3; highly effective against fine lines, expression lines and wrinkles (fun fact: this is actually a newer and, molecule-wise, somewhat bigger version of the famous "Botox-like" peptide called Acetyl Hexapeptide-8)
  • Caviar extract: has antioxidant properties that protect and nourish the skin, and it also contains concentrated dose of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, which moisturise and improve skin texture. It is a highly effective moisturising agent, in fact, and is primarily used to hydrate the skin and make it more soft and supple.
And combined with other natural plant extracts, this serum makes the skin feels more elastic and smoother. Wrinkles and pores are minimised, making the skin look more shiny, supple and youthful.

⇢⇢  Packaging:

This serum is housed in a 30mL bottle, with two separate chambers, featuring the pearly white coloured caviar beads (I can honestly look at this all day long).

⇢⇢  Texture & scent:

By pumping it, a milky emulsion comes out via the pump. The result is a perfect light and creamy textured serum that melts into the skin with an immediate tensing sensation. There is a subtle floral scent to it and even just applying the serum with the hero ingredient as caviar makes it a fancy and luxurious experience.

⇢⇢  Overall thoughts:

I used a pump of this serum every evening on my face and neck for about a month now, after cleansing and toning, and before moisturiser. After the first 2 weeks, I noticed a significant difference in the luminosity of my skin. My skin was super radiant, more even toned, smoother, and more well-rested; I looked alive and healthy! It’s very lightweight and absorbs quickly, creating a slightly hydrated base for the moisturiser to glide on easier.

Now, my skin feels sooo much smoother ever since. From the 2 weeks improvements to now, in a month, my face has become tight and and and pores are smaller! This product is an amazing all-rounder serum: anti-aging, really bringing out that youthful glow, according to my mum (yep she is using it as well XD)

This serum sits at a price point of $89.99 for 30mL, which I believe is so worth the price, because a little definitely goes a long way for this serum, and all you need is a pea-sized amount for each use, that is, applied to the face and neck. Moreover, it's only an eleventh price of the La Prairie, I'm not complaining! ;) I definitely recommend this if you’re looking for a brightening serum.

PS. Looking at the brief review of the La Prairie skin caviar liquid lift online - I do feel like Grand Nature's take is a dupe for that and I wish I had the money to try the original but even I'm not crazy enough to spend AUD $1055 for a serum! (hence why I said earlier, an eleventh of the price!)

So... that is it for tonight!
