Sofina Primavista Ange Moisture Keep Base UV SPF15 PA++ REVIEW

Image
If you have been reading my blog, you would have known that the primer I use is VDL Lumilayer Primer - I admit it's great for a nightout but not too great during the day because it has a very shiny base so I will end up looking like a vampire in the daylight if I use VDL as my base for my entire face. And for that, I have limited its use to just apply on my nose bridge for a more defined nose look. When Anna from Fairy Cosme  introduce me to this primer from Japan, I got hooked into the fact that (1) popular among asians, (2) moisturising and has sun protection properties and (3) matte base I have been using this for almost a month now and here I am, to share my opinion with you all :) There's 2 lines from Primavista Ange:  (a) Primavista Ange Long Keep Base UV (25ml, SPF 25, PA++) (b) Primavista Ange Moisture Keep Base UV (25ml, SPF 15, PA++) So as you can see, the one I got recommended was mainly for hydrating purpose. It is designed to even out t...

Early birthday gathering!

Image
Hello my loves! How are we all? The basis of this blog is dedicated to food and beauty and so far I've been focusing too much on beauty and haven't done any food review yet! So this post shall be on fooooooooood! Hmmmmmm♥ -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Today I had an early birthday celebration with my pharmily! Eventhough not all could make it due to work and other reasons, but luckily there were some who came♥ We lunched at  Brotzeit   in the railway lane at 140. Note: 140 is located on the corner of William and Murray Street Mall, Perth. For those who have never heard of this restaurant, it is a hotspot of the German cuisine! It is "one of the world’s leading franchised German concept casual dining restaurant" and this is the first branch restaurant open in Australia, Perth being the first! WOOHOO! *like finally for once that Perth gets to open a restaurant first of its n...

Aloha everybody! How are we all? Cannot wait for the holidays to come.... literally I just want to: catch up on my sleep, go food-hunting with my baes and watch all the episodes of dramas I missed this semester *such is the life of a pharmacy student* Anyways, I went to the city, in particular, Northbridge, there's an asian cosmetics store that was opened recently and they're having their grand opening sale, me being the omg-asian-cosmetics-fan, I was like, "Hmm interesting.. let's go check it out!" This new shop is called, " Fairy Cosme " situated at Northbridge - I will leave all their contact details below if you are interested. Here's the list of the products I bought! Holika Holika Pig-nose Clear Blackhead 3-Step Kit Review

Image
Hello my lovelies! How are you all doing? :D Done my test and finished my assignment for this week and before I plunge into more (stu)dying for the last week of uni, I decided to do a short review for you all to read! The only dislike (beside dark eye circles that can't be avoided) feature that I don't like on my face is blackheads, which they *luckily* predominantly appear on my nose as my T-zone does get oily during the day. It's only recently that I've started using the DMC deep cleansing mask, so I was quite interested and intrigued when Ellie introduced me to buy this product too. I read some reviews online that this kit actually work, so I thought to myself, "Why not? Let's give it a try!" First impression: So this is the 3-Step Kit is from the Pig-nose (cute name right?) Clear Blackhead line that Holika Holika has! This 3-step kit contains 3 nose strips that: 1. Opens pores 2. Removes blackheads 3. Minimises pores The instructions on t...

Laneige Light Power Essential Skin Refiner Review

Image
Here’s a review of Laneige Power Essential Skin Refiner  which I made for Absolute Beauty. I’m quite the sucker for beauty products but not every item is to my liking. But this, however, such a popular Korean skincare brand, has stumbled across my view, and got me faithful! Ever since I've started using this few days ago, I'm already hooked! If you are keen to know the wonder of this product, please read on. For those who don't know what this brand is, Laneige is a popular facial care and cosmetics brand located in Korea. This brand prides itself in using the science of water to produce their best-selling products. Laneige means “snow” in French and is the result of intense research into hydration technology. First impression: The packaging is pretty standard Laneige packaging. Simple yet chic! They’re not made of glass, but plastic, which is really handy as they’re already quite heavy! The caption on the clear bottle says: “Soothing skin refiner with detoxify...

Tokyo Banana Original Review

Image
It has been a while since I did a snack review.... tonight's the night I shall share my opinion of a famous Japanese treat called Tokyo Banana Original  :) Fun fact of the day... Do you know Tokyo Banana expires within 12 days? But it must be consumed within 7 days (in order to taste the original flavour) so you can't keep it too long! *sad* Japan is very well known country with their wide varieties of snacks, in which all of them are very yummy!  If you are not into Japanese snacks, haven't been to Japan at all or have no idea what this is... Tokyo Banana is just a soft plain sponge cake filled with banana custard cream. It's a famous Japanese snack and you can only purchase them in Japan or through online (for more deets, message me)!  It is seriously a MUST HAVE food souvenir when you visit Japan.  From their website, it is said that they come in boxes of 4, 8 ,12 and 16. As you can see, I got the package of 8. Besides the fact that...

Takami Skin Peel Review

Image
Apparently this is ranked #1 in Japan so I thought to myself, ooh let's try this! It then prompted me to ask the owner at Perth Fabulous Beauty about it, the price ($79) I admit, initially threw me off. I felt hesitant because I asked myself, would I take this bet to try this out if in case it doesn't work out at the end? So after a night's thought, I went to the shop..... and bought it! I have been using this little magic for a week now.. and so far, here are my thoughts. You must be wondering what is this product about right? Well Takami Skin Peel proves to soften and beautify skin. It is said to be that the fluid feels exactly like water with no artificial flavour or any added fragrance. It is also said to "solve a variety of skin problems, such as pores, blackheads, acne, fat particles, etc.." "And if you persist using it everyday, you will certainly see the effects." And just from that rough translation, it felt like I need to try this prod...
