Takami Skin Peel Review
Apparently this is ranked #1 in Japan so I thought to myself, ooh let's try this!
It then prompted me to ask the owner at Perth Fabulous Beauty about it, the price ($79) I admit, initially threw me off. I felt hesitant because I asked myself, would I take this bet to try this out if in case it doesn't work out at the end? So after a night's thought, I went to the shop..... and bought it!
I have been using this little magic for a week now.. and so far, here are my thoughts.
You must be wondering what is this product about right? Well Takami Skin Peel proves to soften and beautify skin. It is said to be that the fluid feels exactly like water with no artificial flavour or any added fragrance. It is also said to "solve a variety of skin problems, such as pores, blackheads, acne, fat particles, etc.." "And if you persist using it everyday, you will certainly see the effects."
And just from that rough translation, it felt like I need to try this product out. And if something that is of really high value to me, in this case, because of the price, I will actually stick and follow the direction to see the effect and experience it myself.
My first impression:
The packaging looks delicate and petite. As I opened it, it comes with the product and a mini brochure with directions on it. And as you can see, it's in Japanese. x.x
This lovely blue bottle comes in 30mL. (I think it's the only size the company makes?) It comes in a dropper bottle, with a line engraved on about half way up of the dropper, indicating how much is needed to use each time. Very handy indeed!
How do I use this?
When I bought it, she told me the instructions, luckily I remembered it well when I got home, because as I got home and opened the package, I found out there was no English words (except the brand name) at all on the packaging!
From rough translations online (thanks to Google translations):
After cleansing, and before you continue with your usual skincare routine, you use this lotion 1 to 2 times daily. So after patted your face with towel, take half the amount on the dropper and onto your palm. Use both hands and gently apply the lotion on your face. Rough areas can be re-applied. Wait for 3 minutes for full penetration into the skin. After this, you can continue on with your daily skincare routine.
Can you believe it's as simple as that?
Final thoughts:
Eventhough it's only been a week that I used this lotion, but I felt that my skin has become clearer and my pores have tightened a little bit. I am actually quite excited to see how my skin develop over time using this Takami Skin Peel lotion.

Update on 3rd August 2015:
So I've been using this lotion for about 3 months now and currently on my 2nd bottle :) When I finished my first bottle, I was reluctant to purchase another one (mainly because of the price). However, during the time I've been using this lotion (after cleansing and after pore strip masking), I do notice that my pores have shrunken immensely. My skin does feel much more smoother!
Love,
Velene xoxo
