Sofina Primavista Ange Moisture Keep Base UV SPF15 PA++ REVIEW

If you have been reading my blog, you would have known that the primer I use is VDL Lumilayer Primer - I admit it's great for a nightout but not too great during the day because it has a very shiny base so I will end up looking like a vampire in the daylight if I use VDL as my base for my entire face. And for that, I have limited its use to just apply on my nose bridge for a more defined nose look.

When Anna from Fairy Cosme introduce me to this primer from Japan, I got hooked into the fact that (1) popular among asians, (2) moisturising and has sun protection properties and (3) matte base

I have been using this for almost a month now and here I am, to share my opinion with you all :)

There's 2 lines from Primavista Ange:
(a) Primavista Ange Long Keep Base UV (25ml, SPF 25, PA++)
(b) Primavista Ange Moisture Keep Base UV (25ml, SPF 15, PA++)

So as you can see, the one I got recommended was mainly for hydrating purpose. It is designed to even out the complexion, control shine and prolong the wear of the foundation.

First impression:
The product has a milky emulsion consistency. It doesn’t feel heavy on the skin and it spreads quite well. It has an off-white pink tone and it contains a bit shimmer but when applied on face, it has a semi-matte finish and creates a satin finish. It evens out and brightens up the complexion and the look (right after the foundation application) is also less powdery and more natural. I love the overall finish because I look more natural though I missed the more dewy complexion that I can achieve with VDL but this is a nice change.

Of course, as the beauty rule of applying makeup goes that “less is more” principle, it too applies with using this primer. If you over-apply it, the foundation can even slide into pores as you apply it.

The main appeal of this product is supposed to be shine control. And it's a tick for me!

Overall, I quite like it because it's a whole different kind of spectrum compared to VDL.
Would I buy it again? Hmm not really.. it's not that this product is bad or anything, but with primers, since I'm new into this line, I prefer to try different kinds of primers out there.

Overall, I hope you enjoy this short review :)
Please leave any comment of what's your best primer!

Thankyou!
Have a lovely day y'all!
