Forty Fathoms Skin Regenerator Renewal Cream
- A pot of gold - I am living for this renewal cream -
Before you start.....
Have you read my review on the 11 Pearls Phyto Calming Essence?
Now I shall present you the other half -- a review on the Forty Fathoms Skin Regenerator Renewal Cream.
One of the hero products from Unichi, infusing science into their ingredients and formulation, to help you protect, repair and regenerate!
Let's get in to this review ~~
⇢⇢ About this cream:
This skin regenerator renewal cream contains fucus vesiculosus extract which visibly transforms the skin by regenerating skin cells and activating the skins natural ability to restore itself making the skin smoother and firmer and helps to make skin-tone even. It claims to reduce wrinkles, restore elasticity, and uplift and firm.
⇢⇢ Key Ingredients:
This cream uses a key ingredient to protect and repair the skin by regenerating damaged cells: extracts fucoidan / fucus vesiculosus aka organic brown seaweed found in the Pacific Ocean. The purpose of this ingredient is to transform the skin by regenerating skin cells and activating the skin's natural ability to restore itself making the skin smoother and firmer and helps make skin tone even.
- Fucus Vesiculosus (Brown Seaweed) Extract - helps to enhance the skin’s natural glow, reduces hyperpigmentation and counteracts some negative effects that UV rays may have on our skin.
- Aqua - most widely used cosmetic ingredient; water is almost always listed first on an ingredient label because it is usually the ingredient with the highest concentration in the formula.
- Dimethicone - most common silicone of all; makes the skin silky smooth, creates a subtle gloss and forms a protective barrier
- Glycerin - acts as a humectant/moisturiser; keeps the skin lipids between our skin cells in a healthy (liquid crystal) state, protects against irritation, helps to restore barrier
- Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) - a water-soluble vitamin that works with the natural substances in your skin to help visibly minimise enlarged pores, tighten pores, improve uneven skin tone, soften fine lines and wrinkles, diminish dullness, and strengthen a weakened surface.
- Panthenol (Vitamin B5) - humectant; moisturise the skin
- Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate (Vitamin C) - a stable, water-soluble form of vitamin C that functions as an antioxidant and is potentially effective for brightening an uneven skin tone.
Besides these main ones, ingredients including almond oil, sesame oil and glycerol are in the cream too, to nourish and repair. That's not to mention Vitamins A, B2, B5, C and E are also jam packed into the product as an added skin-loving bonus.
The cream is packaged in a 50mL white tub and comes with a little spatula to scoop out the product, which is great because I'm not the biggest fan dipping my fingers into jars (for hygiene reasons!) and also because of its thick texture, I can easily adjust the amount of cream I want to use, using the spatula without getting too much and putting it back.
With its non-greasy formula, the texture is very rich, balmy and creamy, but not heavy at all. A little goes a long way for this one. The cream turns watery aka melt once applied on the skin, turning into a semi-matte finish. I can definitely see my skin texture becoming more plump. It softens the skin like butter. And smells amazing too, the after scent reminds me of the ocean scent!
Oh my, this renewal cream is like a pot of gold, I am living for it! I put it on every night after cleansing (and phyto calming essence) and my skin feels super plumped and baby soft in the morning and has a glowing, hydrated complexion. I have been completely stunned by the results of this cream. It nourishes the skin on a deeper level and visibly improved my skin texture and evened out my skin tone while leaving my skin incredibly soft and supple. This will be the perfect cream for the winter season! Say buh-bye to dryness!
If you're looking to try something different when it comes to your skincare routine, and really do want to try something unique then the Forty Fathom Skin Regenerator may be just the one you can look in to!
Ta for now!
