Urban Decay: Optical Illusion Complexion Primer Review

Image
Happy Tuesday everyone :) Today, I am sharing my thoughts with you all on a fairly new primer, called "Urban Decay: Optical Illusion Complexion Primer" (phew, that's long!). This was part of the latest Level 3 Mecca Beauty Loop Box and I'm so glad a sample was in there for me to try! I love finding new primers, eventhough I already have a holy grail (which is VDL Lumilayer Primer - full review is here ), and in my past experiences, I've tried a handful of primers, and none of them blew me away like VDL! So it was still really exciting and intriguing for me to experiment with a new primer out in the market! (who agrees me with this?) First impression: Before I start, if you've never heard of this before, Urban Decay has recently came out with three new complexion primers! These are as follows: De-Slick, Self-Adjusting & Optical Illusion! And luckily, I got a mini sample of Optical Illusion in my beauty loop box to test it out! So what is this ...

Kailijumei Jelly Flower Lipstick Review

Image
When this flower jelly lipstick first came out, so so many people on the internet talked and raved about it; and got crazily obsessed over this, last year (?)..... but is it any good with its pretty looks? And yep, here I am, joining in the craze half year later, putting it to the test to see if it lives up to its appearance! Front note, I did a mini review post on my instagram a while ago, link is here if you want to read! I could remember the times when the range was out of stock in plenty of websites and asian cosmetics stores here in Perth, but now that the internet obsession of this has calmed down a little, I thought to do give you all a detailed review so you can decide if you would want to try these out! First impression & packaging: Besides the cute appearance it has, which reminds me of the enchanted rose from Beauty and Beast (with a flower and gold specks encased within a clear jelly like bullet!), let's talk in-depth about the product itself! When I fi...

Hello hello again :) how are we all? The weather's getting really chilly at the moment at where I am.... and the worst part is? It's not even winter yet. But any who! On to my newly skincare regime, which I've been putting extra hydrating products on.. due to this weather, here's a product that I picked up in Mecca (http://www.mecca.com.au/)  1.5 months ago, have been using it daily, and now here I am, to give you all, my lovely readers some feedback on whether this product is up to scratch, lives up to its name and worth the hefty price tags. Well well well April flew by so quickly that I can't believe tomorrow is May. The year is definitely flying so fast that it ain't minding anyone's business, I tell ya! Last month, I did a favourites video so to switch it up, for this month, I have a short post today dedicated to the beauty products I've emptied (YAYS!), it's not much, but here goes :) and here's a typical flatlay I do on my instagram First up, SKINCARE . Tony Moly Panda's Dream So Cool Eye Stick -  Let me tell you, every now and then when I'm hunting down my latest and greatest korean beauty finds, I will be tempted. Like this, it's cute. Really cute. And I must have it. Does anyone out there feels me? The Tony Moly Panda's Dream line has been around for a little while now, and t...

John Taylor - The Noosa watch review

Image
Hello everyone :) Welcome back! It's EASTER, um say what? This year is flying WAY too quick! I swear yesterday was just the first day of the year. And to say it's already middle of April. *still in denial* Life has definitely been really busy for me - handling with working full time, juggling time to spend with family and friends, and basically been planning for my US trip in a couple of months time. . But anyhow, without further a-do, today's post is about (as suggested from the title) a super-late-but-promised review of John Taylor's  "The Noosa" watch. “Time is the most valuable thing a man can spend.” I remembered when I was young, all the adults around me, advised me to spend time wisely. But when I think of time back then, was that it's slow and there's plenty of time to do things. My parents have always bought me watches throughout primary school to highschool - to keep track of time - when I was little, I wish time goes faster, but ...

SASH Cosmetics: Luminous Lipsticks Review

Image
Hello lovely ladies! Since I don't have a valentine, happy valentine's to you all! It has definitely been many moons ago that I've posted on my blog here, so sorry for my recent absence! Was really busy with work and life. Some of you may have noticed that my instagram account has totally disappeared today - woke up this morning and found out my account was deactivated by instagram, according to them, "I violated one of their terms" and I literally gasped when I saw it. I was like what the hell. What did I do?! I didn't do anything wrong. What's going on. My heart shattered to pieces and literally the whole day at work today, I was constantly stressing with what ifs, what now, all my hard work has flushed down the drain, what should I do etc. I was all over the place, my mind was constantly running trying to think of solution! Just then, I found an appeal form, followed the instructions and well fingers crossed, I hope I get my account back in one piec...
