Summer Glow with LUSH Feeling Younger Skin Tint Review
It feels like I haven't written a post in forever! (yep I know it's not Wednesday anymore :P) But I'm here! I figured I would do a post on natural glowing skin because well *cough cough* it falls into my favourite category: highlighters.
It's summer here in Australia and as some of you already know I am a huge fan of radiant, dewy skin! Not only does it look youthful but it truly accentuates your features. During summer, I tend to use very few products as possible on my face due to avoiding face meltdown on super hot days. You know, sometimes less is more. On any other days or seasons should I say, I typically achieve a glow by using powder highlighters which are known to appear slightly heavier, but I've been trying out the LUSH: Feeling Younger Skin Tint for the past couple of months and let me tell you, it will be all you reach for to achieve glowy skin. And and and let me give you a sneak peek.... if you've always wanted to try MAC Strobe Cream Glow but didn't want to invest in it or too expensive or don't want to support companies that test on animals or want a cheaper product, then this is the product to go to.
Here's a quick intro of what this little pot is!

- 20g pot of luminizer
- consistency is somewhere between liquid to cream, more on the cream side
- hence creamy consistency allows easy application (with swift hand!)
- made of natural ingredients
- VEGAN
- yellow undertones - suit for most skin tones!
- highlight result is subtle - not too hard and can be built up
- and being a cream highlighter, it has a dewy radiant finish
After trying out for few months, I must say, only one lil twitch about this pot is that you have to be quick to apply this as it dries quickly, and you need to blend it with light, swift circular dabs or it will go on streaky. Applying this with a brush might not be ideal due to how quickly it dries on the skin. Yep you have to dip your fingers in the jar to apply the product, which has “hygiene issues” written all over it. So the TIP is: use a cosmetics spatula to avoid this issue!
Whether I use it as an illuminating moisturiser on its own or to highlight the high points of my cheek and brow bone, this is the perfect start or finish to achieving that “no-makeup” makeup look. T |
