Cass Beauty Store: Jasmine & Bella False Eyelashes Review
Hey!
True or false: applying false eyelashes can be very intimidating.
False eyelashes are my saviour. I literally can’t live without them. I guess I’m real lash addict. However, you may then ask, hold on, how come you don't see me wear much false eyelashes based on my pictures on my instagram, yes?
Well let me tell you a brief story, I discovered false eyelashes at the start of last year and have wore false eyelashes quite often since then, started working full time since end of last year, and because I wear glasses, there isn't a need to wear falsies as much, unless when I have contact lenses on - as it makes me look super bare that I can't face myself applying a dozen coat of mascaras because none will stay hold the whole day!
The false eyelashes I wore often, were either lashes from Daiso or Ardell Demi Wispies - which is still my favourite, but now it's not the only one!
Today, I will be sharing my first impressions and thoughts of these Cass Beauty false eyelashes that I've at least gotten 3 uses out of each one, which is a good time I reckon to let you know what I think of them!
First impression & packaging:
At first sight, the packaging is just wow. I spot most of my favourites in one. Marble and rose gold. Simple yet elegant and classy.
Out of much hesitation to choose what to get, I ended up with going the au naturale path. 2 pairs of lashes - Jasmine and Bella false eyelashes.
Simple yet elegant packaging!
The lashes all come in plastic, re-usable boxes, but without any glue.
Then, looking at these lashes, aside from being super long, look incredibly real. And super soft! Look so so super natural!
Jasmine looked very natural, so I wanted to see if I liked them as my ‘everyday lashes’. I fell in love with Jasmine at first sight. When I looked at Bella, I was skeptical how it'll look on my eyes, as it looks more fuller and flared up compared to Jasmine.
Do the names remind you of disney princesses? They sure do for me!
Application:
Remember the true or false question I asked at the beginning?
Well, for me? TRUE. Why did I hop on to the bandwagon of applying false eyelashes this late? Because the very thought of applying false lashes was downright terrifying. With me, if I were to try it on, I have to wear contact lenses, as if I don't, I be as blind as bat! And yes, sometimes it got so daunting that I didn’t even want to try. Then I gathered up my courage at the start of last year, when I first got into them, I was total crap at the application, for real! — but as with most things, if you practice, it gets easier.
When it comes to easy-to-apply lashes, I can definitely say these lashes are par to some of the best I’ve ever used. Before I tried these lashes on, it had been a good 6 months I haven't touch false eyelashes at all. So you can imagine, how daunting it was for me to apply after that hiatus. And GUESS WHAT.
With these or any Ardell pairs, if you practice and be patient, and give yourself a week or two, it’ll get super easy. The best advice I can give is to look down into a mirror while you’re applying them. That really helps me a lot!
PICTURES FROM MY TRIALS:
What do you think of them?
And now, what's next?
If it's not obvious enough from the pictures and descriptions above, they are amazing! Now I decided to investigate the claim that they can be worn for up to 20-25 uses with proper care! And what perfect timing is that I'm heading to America soon, so I will be bringing these lashes onboard with me - will update here when I come back to tell you how long they last :)
Here's my overall thoughts and ratings (for now):

... and of course, I have to put it on top of my marble table. Never too much marble right? XD |

Love how the lashes are bubble-wrapped to ensure they come in perfect conditions. Extra care on point! |

Here's my overall thoughts and ratings (for now):
- Sustainability/wearability: 10/10 - the photos speak for themselves. If you want to keep the lashes for the amount of time they say you can - just follow the care instructions and you'll be golden. Mine still look amazing (after 3 ueses), the band is still strong and the lashes aren't bent or angled crazily. While I'm looking forward to being lazy and not wearing makeup every day, I will definitely keep wearing this pair when I wear makeup
- Aesthetics: 10/10 - they're so pretty! Especially the Jasmine one. It is actually one of my most received compliment when I wore those - was that they look so natural and pretty. They don't drown out simple neutral eye makeup, but they also hold their own in a smoky eye.
Overall, what I love about the website - how it runs with the lashes being advertised - is that all lashes include actual photos on what they look like on people with different eyelid spaces. Really helpful to me especially, since asians generally have much more tiny lid-space compared to the rest.
Definitely check Cass Beauty out if you want to buy some great (and affordable! Did I say they are only $15 AUD each?) lashes. I’m definitely going to wear these lashes a lot in my upcoming trip as mentioned, because they’re so easy to apply and look very natural. I would recommend them to anybody!
That’s it for today’s review. I hope you enjoyed reading about these lashes and I will talk to you soon.
Oh and have a lovely June everyone! Can't believe it's the first day of June today. Start of winter here in Australia, but it has been feeling quite winter lately for the past few weeks with the rain and wind. Urgh. I love winter because you get to layer so much, but I also don't like winter because my hands get so cold that I just want to wear gloves all day and slouch in a fetal position XD
But yeah, have a great day guys!
Love,
Melon xoxo
