Etude House Double Lasting Foundation Review

I did a get-ready-with-me chitchat on my snapchat account yesterday, (let's be friends! My username is: veleneeee), which made me realised that it has been a really long time since I've did a video or anything along that line! I was saddened by how un-creative I've been, telling myself, this can't do anymore, either I bare it all or give it all. I love to hear how you guys motivate yourself! Love to hear any tips :)

Anyways! Today I'm going to be talking about Etude House Double Lasting Foundation! I've mentioned about this on my instagram (LINK) and I've been using this on so many occasions, from everyday to night events and functions, now that I think it's the right time now, to share with you what I think about this!

First of all, I love Korean BB Creams. Well love is an understatement really, obsessed is a better word. If you raid my storage of my makeup base - 90% of them are BB Creams.
The top reason of why I'm obsessed with them so much are that they have extra benefits like whitening, sun protection, moisturising etc. And because I don't have any particular face concerns/problems, their light coverage just suit me perfectly for an everyday basic makeup or days where I prefer a light base. I've never really look into korean foundations however because it wasn't something that's overly praised or raved about overseas.

Then all things change when I came across Etude House Double Lasting Foundation, it promises to provide 24 hour lasting power.



Let's start, shall we?

What is it? Well it's a long-lasting foundation that aims to provide perfect cover and have a thin, fitting feel.

First impression & packaging: this foundation comes packaged in a sturdy glass bottle that is very practical, but not very much like the usual Etude House packaging (which is in a tube like form)! It comes with a pump as well as a cap which I like - great for travel and very hygienic in a long run!








How to use?
According to the packaging, it goes as follows -
1. Gently shake the bottle up and down before use.
2. Take an appropriate amount of the Double Lasting Foundation and gently apply in the direction of skin texture.
3. Gently pat the face with the fingertips to increase adherence and absorption into skin.


I found it easy to apply with brushes, fingers or sponges, though for fuller coverage I recommend using a brush, and for sheerer coverage a sponge works best.

Final verdict:
It sets on my skin quite quickly and doesn't appear matte or cakey. The foundation is lightweight and comfortable on the skin. It does have quite good medium to full coverage.

Overall, this is the first and only one (so far) korean foundation in my collection, that totally pars up with other drugstore foundations in the market, with the good medium coverage, like Maybelline line.
